The Frangipani Family Residence is the home of the Frangipani family, a multi-generational Italian family with many different individual needs and interests. The family is passionate about their Italian heritage and juggles a complicate life. Marco, the father, is a stressed emergency room doctor with ADHD. Maria, the mom, is a painter with Seasonal Depressive Disorder who teaches art therapy classes for disabled people. Olivia, the daughter, is a college music student who is blind. Donna, the grandma, cooks for the family, missed Italy, and is a heavy-set woman. Luigi, the grandpa, is in a wheelchair and loves to tend to his herbs and make wine.
