MY WORK
Weber Memory Care Facility
The Weber Memory Care Facility will focus on providing residents with a welcoming sense of home and belonging. This will be achieved through a warm color palette and the ability to personalize their private places of residence. A town center and a lush, indoor green space will create opportunities for social interaction, memorable landmarks for easy wayfinding, and connections to nature to promote better wellbeing.
The Hub Office
With a classy and sophisticated feel, The Hub will create a professional atmosphere for individuals or teams to be productive. The space will provide just the right mix of playfulness and professionalism that allows people to feel comfortable while still being able to work. A mix of seating types will provide options for people, whether they want to be in a public space or one that feels more private.
Frangipani Family Residence
Combined with its warm, rich hues and natural materials, this home will evoke feelings of comfort and relaxation with its flowing circulation, symmetrical balance, and emphasis on strong, grounding connections.
Stevens Point Brewery Taproom
The tap room will have a rustic, industrial feel that hints to the company’s history. The brand colors of the Stevens Point Brewery will be incorporated through material choices and be further infused with the existing red brick walls. This space will be welcoming and engaging to visitors and encourage them to learn about the history and brewing process.
Saudi Arabian Cultural Residence
The design of this space will blend traditional Saudi Arabian customs and values with the modern minimalism that the client prefers. The lines of Islamic calligraphy and the materials and geometry of Mashrabiya windows, an important architectural element in Saudi Arabian design, will serve as inspiration for interior elements. Focusing on the details of Saudi Arabian design, rather than the larger elements, will create a more modern and minimalist design.
Next Robotics Office
Inspired by the blue and green hues and geometric lines of a circuit board, the Next office will have a futuristic feel that hints to the company’s innovative work in robotics. The office will demonstrate the brand by being humanity-centered and flexible. It will provide a welcoming and visually stimulating space that is easy to navigate, inspiring the employees to enjoy their time in the office and develop groundbreaking new ideas. Next’s Boston office will feel clean, simple, intuitive, and fresh-- just like the new technological developments the employees will discover each day.
Intership Experience
Strongwood is a custom homebuilder located in Waupaca, WI. During this hands-on experience in the field, I assisted with initial design development, furniture layouts, finish selections, presentation renderings, and the creation of projection manuals. I was able to visit project sites almost everyday and learned a lot about the real-world design process from start to finish.
